Whether you're scheduling an appointment for yourself or setting up a meeting, Outlook gives you all the features you need to find the right time for everyone.
As you switch from G Suite Calendar to Outlook, there are a few differences in names to be aware of, like attendees instead of guests or interchanging appointments with events.
Creating an Appointment
1. Go to your calendar and select New Appointment.
2. Enter the title, time, location, and details.
3. Click Save & Close.
Scheduling a Meeting
1. Go to your calendar and select New Meeting.
2. Enter the title, invitees, time, location, and details.
3. Click Teams meeting if using Microsoft Teams.
4. Click Send.
Using the Scheduling Assistant
1. When creating a meeting, select Scheduling Assistant to check availability.
2. Adjust the meeting time by dragging the bars.
3. Suggested times and conflicts are shown on the right.
Creating Recurring Appointments or Meetings
1. Select New Appointment.
2. Enter the details.
3. Click Recurrence and set the pattern.
4. Click OK.
5. For existing events, open them and follow the same steps.
